The Anchorage Motel staff were so accommodating and friendly. We brought our two young children and dog with us for the 4th of July and they had gifts made up with snacks and beach toys for all the kids. The rooms were clean and exactly as advertised. Due to the overwhelming positive feedback we received on our Premium King Suite renovation we moved up the renovation of our Junior Suite and it is now complete. We are so excited to open it for reservations.
Our Junior Suite is an open concept layout. In the bedroom area there is a queen size bed. As you enter the living room area there is a custom live edge bar top with two bar stools that can be used for dining or a workstation using our high-speed fiber optic WiFi. The living room area has a loveseat perfect for two to rest and relax after a long day at the beach, the 55-inch Roku Smart TV can be viewed from all areas of this suite. The Junior Suite has a small kitchen equipped with a three-burner range and oven, an over the range microwave with hood, an undercounter refrigerator with freezer, quartz countertops and custom tile backsplash. The kitchen is equipped with basic pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils and a Keurig coffee maker. The private bathroom has a shower, a hair dryer and Tommy Bahama toiletries for your stay. This Junior Suite is the perfect getaway for two people who want the comforts of home while enjoying the beach.
Our Junior Suite renovation is coming together. Excited to share these two custom pieces that were delivered today. Cody is an awesome artist. The wood slab for a custom bar@top and the custom surfboard is beautiful.

We just finished the remodel and update of our Deluxe King Suite. New flooring, new kitchen cabinets, quartz countertop with stainless steel under mount sink, custom bar top with bench (not pictured) new vessel sink and shower in bathroom, new light fixtures throughout. We hope everyone will love this room as much as we do.

A sneak peek into our new allergy-friendly Loft Suite. This new suite is our only upstairs suite and the largest of all of our suites at 735 sq ft. To maintain the allergy-friendly status it is completely pet free no exceptions. This unit has one bedroom, a large galley style kitchenette with a Keurig coffee machine, a living room with a second bed and couch and a private bathroom. It also has an air purifier with HEPA filter, it’s own vacuum cleaner and cleaners to ensure no cross contamination from our other rooms that allow pets and will be treated with an ozone machine in between each guest. It also has our newly installed ductless heater with A/C and two flat screen Smart TVs. We will have more pictures in the next few days and will be opening it up for reservations soon.

We have completed the update to our Two Bedroom Pet Friendly Family Suite. Each room has a queen size bed, the living room has a twin size day bed, a Roku Smart TV, and is displaying artwork from Chris McKellan a new artist we are working with that we mounted on our decorative wood wall. The kitchen has a new counter-top and sink with a built-in drain, and we went with a marble back-splash as well as new dishes, pots & pans and a Keurig coffee pot. The bathroom has a new vanity mirror with shelving, the shower walls have been updated and we have added a blow-dryer. We are excited to open this newly updated room to our guests.

We just finished updating our One Bedroom Suite - Queen. This room can now accommodate up to 4 people as the daybed in the living room pulls out to make a queen size bed. We were lucky enough to stop by the Kiawanda Community Center this past weekend and catch them setting up for a wedding. They are working with a fabulous wedding coordinator and these are some of the pictures of the venue. The bride was going for a enchanted woodland with fairies theme wedding and Jody nailed it.
